A 20-year communications veteran, Karen specializes in strategic communications planning, brand reputation management, internal and corporate communications, social media strategy and risk management. She has served some of the nation’s largest Christian ministries, including Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ), David C Cook, FamilyLife, Samaritan’s Purse, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, The Potter’s House, Prison Fellowship, Open Doors, National Christian Foundation and World Vision, among others. She is seasoned in crisis prep and response, and has been heavily involved helping ministries navigate environmental, social and governance issues. While previously serving at DeMoss, she also led the media relations campaigns for Operation Christmas Child for almost 10 years. She regularly works with organizations to develop messaging that is unwavering in core values, while also being approachable and winsome. Karen is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in public relations.
