Guardian is a communications agency located at 4401 Northside Pkwy., Suite 650, Atlanta, GA 30327. This policy describes what information we collect through guardian.agency, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it to be read.
Inquiries. When you submit an inquiry form, we receive the information you enter: your name, email address, organization, role, organization type, what you need help with, how you heard about us and anything you write to us. The form also tells us how you found our site: the referring website, any campaign tags in the first link you followed (such as UTM parameters), the page where you arrived and the Google Ads click ID from your most recent ad click, if there was one. We keep these in a first-party cookie and your browser’s storage for 90 days. The form is processed by Formspree, which delivers your submission to our inbox, and the information you submit is stored in our customer relationship management (CRM) system. We use it only to respond to you and to communicate with you about Guardian’s services.
Newsletter. When you sign up for the Guardian newsletter, we collect your email address, which is stored and managed by Mailchimp. A copy is also kept in our CRM, HubSpot. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Site analytics. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, for how long and from what type of device and browser, along with the approximate location derived from your IP address. It runs in Google’s consent mode: if you decline cookies, or until you accept them in the U.K., the European Economic Area or Switzerland, it sets no analytics or advertising cookies and sends only limited, cookieless measurements. A Google Tag Manager container loads only when these cookies are allowed. You can also block Google Analytics with standard browser controls or Google's opt-out browser add-on.
HubSpot. We use HubSpot to understand how visitors find us and to manage inquiries. HubSpot is also our CRM, where the information you submit through our forms is stored. HubSpot sets analytics cookies that recognize returning visitors and record the pages they view.
LinkedIn. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the results of our LinkedIn advertising, such as how many people who saw a LinkedIn ad later send us an inquiry. It follows your cookie choice, described below, and sets cookies of its own. LinkedIn handles this data under its Privacy Policy.
Your cookie choice. If you visit from the U.K., the European Economic Area or Switzerland, a notice asks you to accept or decline cookies. Until you choose, Google Analytics sets no cookies and HubSpot, LinkedIn and Google Tag Manager do not load. Everywhere else, they all run by default. Wherever you are, you can turn them off with the Cookie choices button below or, if you have not made a choice, a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser. If you accept, all of these run. If you decline, we remove HubSpot’s, Google’s and LinkedIn’s cookies from this site, stop loading HubSpot and LinkedIn and remember your choice. Clearing this site’s cookies and site data erases your choice.
Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare, which maintains standard server logs (such as IP address and requested pages) for security and performance, handled under Cloudflare's own privacy practices.
Embedded video. Some pages embed YouTube videos in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which sets no advertising cookies unless you choose to play a video. Playback is subject to Google's privacy policy.
We share personal information only with the service providers named above, who process it on our behalf; when the law requires it; or, if Guardian is ever part of a merger or acquisition, as part of that transaction. That is the whole list.
Inquiry correspondence and the details stored in our CRM are kept as long as we need them to work with you and maintain ordinary business records. The first-visit source details stored in your browser expire after 90 days. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained under Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. Wherever you live, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email us and we will honor any reasonable request. We may need to verify you are the person the information belongs to before acting.
Our site links to other websites, including our clients' and social platforms. Their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to review them.
